A pair of stunning, sculptural '1315' lounge chairs designed by Bill Stephens for Knoll, c.1981. Inspired by Eero Saarinen's womb chair, Stephens design takes the same approaches his '1300' dining chairs, originally created for the Yale Student Center in the '60s. Sculptural oak frames are as elegant as they get, and the plush, heavily-textured ivory bouclé is cozy and inviting. In excellent vintage condition with light wear to frames and ~3 year old upholstery still in fantastic condition.
