Incredible and rare “Trident” lamp by Jan Erik Lindgren for Ideas Norway, c.1980. Better known for his Ekornes designs, Lindgren developed a limited collection of lamps for Ideas in the early 80s. Reminiscent of a trident, this design features three laminated bentwood arms suspending conical canvas shades. A beautiful example of Scandinavian minimalism, I haven’t been able to find another like it. Excellent vintage condition with minor separation at one of the shade connections.
