Absolutely epic convertible settee/tete-a-tete designed by Ransom Culler for Thayer Coggin, c.1980s. Widely associated with Milo Baughmans, Thayer Coggin is symbolic of the finest craftsmanship, and this piece is understandably often misattributed to Milo. This clever design turns a settee into a tete-a-tete by swiveling one of the backrests. One side is on wheels while the other is static, but this piece isn't going anywhere. Freshly reupholstered in a soft, French-blue 100% cotton performance velvet, this combination of color and curves is as elegant as it gets. In excellent condition.
