Monumental handwoven wool wall hanging, c.1980s. This enormous piece of fiber art is such a statement, measuring in at an impressive six-and-a-half feet tall. The concept itself is so retro, however the geometric design is clean and modern. While the piece is mostly made up of straight and tight horizontal weaves, the top-mid section throws us a curveball with chunky layers creating a warped effect. Colors on this artwork range from beige, sand, terracotta, and burgundy—a warm and welcoming palette. In excellent vintage condition with very minor fraying and piling. A bracket along the top and two eyelet hooks allow this piece to hang from a pair of screws or hooks.
