Coveted Alky chair designed by Giancarlo Piretti for Castelli in 1969, in soft and original raspberry-colored velvet. This iconic slipper chair combines comfort with modern lines, showing off one of the arguably sexiest backs we’ve seen on a piece of furniture. Foam construction with metal legs, velvet upholstery, and a zipper running down the underside. These chairs are blowing up in popularity right now (how could they not?) and vintage originals are incredibly hard to find, especially on this side of the pond. This is a beautiful and original example with minor fading and spots on the upholstery, tagged and stamped Castelli.
