Classically handsome walnut cased sofa with brass grid accent and tweed upholstery from Bernhardt’s Flair Division, c.1970s. The walnut back on this piece is a showstopper, with gorgeous grain and the perfect pops of brass. Tweed upholstery is original, a charcoal melange with subtle hints of blue. Boxy cushions with piped edges are done in classic midcentury style, yet this sofa is anything but classic. Ultra modern with its straight lines and platform base, the warm tones and soft textures instantly make this piece feel like home. Seats three comfortably or four if you really wanted to. In excellent vintage condition with some slight fading to the upholstery and a not-too-noticeable scratch on one side of the walnut frame.
