Midcentury-modern floor lamp with two embedded kidney-shaped tables, designed by Tony Paul for Westwood Industries, c.1950s. This rare piece exudes character, full of interesting shapes and materials. Aged brass frame with arched legs supports two kidney-shaped surfaces: one a warm walnut and the other a white laminate. We are unsure if the tall drum shade is original to the lamp, however it is true to the design and its gold stitching pairs beautifully with the brass base. Lamp operates on a three-way switch that illuminates one, two, or three bulbs at a time. In good vintage condition with some tarnish to the frame, light wear and water stains on the table surfaces, and a small tear in the lampshade.
